DIOCESE LIBRARY
FROM THE BISHOP'S OFFICE
For the past 18 years, I have been visioning, leading, and loving the Episcopal church at the parish, diocesan, and national levels. Creative vision, change management, collaboration, teaching of spiritual practices, and exploring ways for congregations to thrive are some of my primary gifts. I have led multiple organizations, faith communities, and teams through transformations as the Holy Spirit inspired us. My call is to shape the Church so that God’s people are equipped to live lives of faith and share the love and justice of Christ’s “Kin-dom”.
The Rt. Rev. Anne B. Jolly
Twelfth Bishop of the Diocese of Ohio
SEMA
Southeast Mission Area of the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio

The Episcopal Diocese of Ohio is divided into several smaller geographical units known as Mission Areas. Christ Church is part of the Southeast Mission Area which is bounded by Warren to the north, Boardman in the east, and East Liverpool to the south. In addition to the afore mentioned cities, the Southeast Mission Area (SEMA) also includes Episcopal churches in Niles and Steubenville.

Mission Areas are headed by a Dean, who is a clergy member appointed by the Bishop to act on his behalf in matters of day to day governance of that Area. The Dean works closely with the Bishop in introducing new diocesan initiatives and provides feedback from the Mission Area church leaders to the Office of the Bishop. Christ Church%u2019s own Father Jeff Baker is the current appointed Dean for the SEMA.
