December 04, 2022 ANNOUNCEMENTS

WELCOME TO CHRIST CHURCH!  We are happy to have you worshiping with us today!  If you are a visitor or if you would like to know more information about the life, work and ministry of Christ Church, please fill out a “Connect Card” located in the pew rack.  You can drop the completed card in the offering plate or give it to a member of our staff, an usher or vestry member following the service.  We are glad you are here!

COFFEE HOUR is immediately following the 10 am worship service.  Light refreshments are served.  Please consider staying after worship for this opportunity of fellowship!

WELCOME Rev. Kay Rackley as our guest priest this morning.  Kay is the retired Canon of Trinity Cathedral, Cleveland.  In retirement, she continues ministry through supply work, teaching, and serving as a spiritual director.  She lives in Cleveland with her two dogs, Urak (which is Hungarian for Gentlemen) and Awe-ggie (a contraction of Awesome Doggie).  She competes in agility with both dogs (which are Hungarian Pumi).  Urak will be competing in the AKC Invitational in December.

SPIRITUAL FORMATION FOR CHILDREN is held each week during 10 am worship service.  We use the Montessori-based curriculum, Godly Play.  Interested children (K-5) are welcomed to join in the procession.  Children return to the church during The Peace so they may join their families for Holy Eucharist.

Temporary CHURCH OFFICE HOURS: Mon & Thur: 8 am – 2 pm; Tue & Wed 10 am – 1 pm.

TOWER LIGHTING  The tower lights are lit each night in December in loving memory of John and Francess Novak.  Given by Al Novak and family.

BRING US YOUR SCRAPS! We are currently collecting aluminum cans and scrap metal.  Please bring any cans or metal and place beside the maintenance garage at the rear of the parking lot.  These items are collected and sold as a fundraiser for our general operating fund.
